The picture was taken in the back garden of Rose Cottage. I’m holding the August medal from the Kirkcudbright Golf Club. The medal is competed for monthly at the club and has been since the late 19th century. It is the only golf award I’ve won and I thank the golf gods for their one day blessing. You get to keep the medal until the next monthly competition.
